Every family Kamilah Little has served through The Novara Group carries a story that started long before they walked through a door. So did she.
Kamilah did not set out to build seven organizations. She set out to solve one problem she kept watching repeat itself: families reaching the end of a crisis, finding a program, and discovering the program could only meet a fraction of what they actually needed. A bed, but no healing. A healing circle, but no path to income. A job program, but nowhere permanent to live once it ended.
She built The Novara Group to close those gaps, not with a single sprawling program, but with an entire federation, each division sharp enough to stand on its own, all of them woven into one continuum of care. It is an unusual structure. It is also the only structure that answers the whole problem instead of a piece of it.
What drives the work is not a theory. It is a belief that the families walking through Novara’s doors are not projects to be managed. They are people mid-story, and the story is theirs to finish. Novara’s role is to build the infrastructure, housing, healing, income, community, permanency, that makes finishing that story on their own terms possible.
A place where new life begins.
