A parallel arc, not a separate one

ROOTED™ is built on the R.O.O.T. Framework — Regulate, Observe, Own, Together — a trauma-informed healing track designed to run in parallel with a mother’s N.O.V.A. phases, so a family heals on one coordinated arc instead of two disconnected ones. Sibling groups, called Nest Groups, stay together through the earliest phases rather than being separated immediately by age. Quarterly Family Touchpoint sessions bring the parallel arcs back together at key moments.

ROOTED™ is the clinical and therapeutic healing track for Nova Ascenders™ — distinct from Ascenders’ Flight™ and TCCI’s youth programming, which remain the recreational and enrichment side of a child’s experience. A child moves through both; they are not substitutes for each other.

A Composite Story

She Doesn't Have to Carry Her Mother's Story

At first, she notices that something has changed, even if she doesn’t have the words for it. A new home. New routines. A mother learning how to build a different kind of future.

ROOTED™ gives her a place within that transition that belongs to her.

She learns ways to recognize what she is feeling. She discovers that asking questions is okay, that her voice matters, and that difficult experiences do not have to become the whole story of who she is.

As her mother moves forward, she does too — on her own age-appropriate path, with support around her and opportunities to reconnect with family along the way.

Because when a family is rebuilding, every member deserves a path toward feeling safe, understood, and rooted.

Every path forward starts somewhere.
